Notice according to the Battery Act
Since we sell batteries and accumulators or devices containing batteries and accumulators, we are required under the Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following: Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally required to return used batteries and accumulators. Old batteries may contain harmful substances that can harm the environment or your health if improperly stored or disposed of. However, batteries also contain important raw materials, such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel, which can be recycled. After use, you can either return the batteries to us or hand them in free of charge at nearby collection points (e.g., in stores or at municipal collection sites). Disposal at sales outlets is limited to usual quantities for end users and to those old batteries that the distributor carries or has carried as new batteries in its range.

The symbol of the crossed-out trash bin indicates that you must not dispose of batteries and accumulators in household waste. Additionally, under this symbol, you will find the following indications. The chemical symbols have the following meanings:
Pb = battery/accumulator contains lead
Cd = battery/accumulator contains cadmium
Hg = battery/accumulator contains mercury
