Before inserting the refill container, make sure the device is turned off by sliding the intensity control under the lid upwards. Please read and carefully follow the instructions for use and safety on the Freshmatic refill. Please switch the device off if it is not to be used for more than a week. Do not use the device near or on sources of heat, open flames, electrical devices in operation or in direct sunlight (over 50°C). This device is battery operated. Do not use rechargeable alkaline batteries. Please ensure that the batteries are inserted according to the +/- symbols. If the batteries leak, please remove them immediately and clean the device carefully. Please remove the batteries if the device is not to be used for a long period of time. Do not mix old batteries, batteries of different brands or different types. Do not expose batteries to water, fire or high temperatures. Do not cause a short circuit. Never try to recharge batteries. Disposal: Remove the batteries for disposal and place them in the designated collection containers at retailers or at public collection points. Do not breathe in aerosol. Intentional misuse through deliberate concentration and inhalation can be harmful to health or fatal. Risk of slipping on hard surfaces.
